Wendy Trakes

Wendy Trakes is a Digital Humanities Specialist for Third Spaces, LLC. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Arizona and a Master of Arts in History from Arizona State University where she specialized in the digital presentation of academic research for public audiences. Her most recent projects include writing and editing stories for the place-based digital public humanities projects: Salt River Stories and The Navigli Project.

In addition to her academic credentials, she possesses over 30 years of multimedia, technical writing & editing, technology support and 20 years of library experience.

In her free time, Wendy enjoys traveling, photography, writing, and singing in a band.
